SimiGon, Ltd. (LSE: SIM), a global leader in modeling, simulation and training solutions, is pleased to announce that its independently operated US subsidiary, SimiGon Inc., has been awarded a six (6) month contract extension to continue its Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for SimiGon’s SIMbox-based T-6A Level 5 FAA Compliant Flight Training Devices for the United States Air Force.

Under the extension, SimiGon will continue to provide turnkey onsite and offsite support services for the Undergraduate Remotely Piloted Aircraft Training (URT) program. In this program, SimiGon has been consistently providing a 98% availability rate for the sixteen SIMbox-based T-6A Level 5 Flight Training Devices (FTD). This high simulator availability rate has been critical to maintaining the high student graduation rate, one of the highest in the USAF.

The total contract period, including the base period and additional options, totals eighteen (18) months.

SimiGon Inc. President, Jack Sarnicki, said: "The exercising of this option period to continue our support of the URT program demonstrates the USAF’s confidence in our ability to support a program of great national security importance, the training of U.S. RPA pilots. SimiGon Inc.’s capabilities continue to grow with the program’s high training volume, to include software and hardware maintenance and support of the entire training device, comprised of fully functional cockpits, projectors, domes, as well the relevant spare parts. We expect this Contract to lead to additional business with the USAF and wider RPA training community.”
