Instructional System Design (ISD)
Engineer - Orlando, Fl. (#723)
SimiGon modeling, simulation, and training solutions is seeking qualified
Instructional System Design (ISD) Engineers to join our team focused on
developing effective training solutions. This position will be located in
Orlando, Florida.
The qualified applicants will have strong interest in
gaming/simulation design and be involved in planning, developing, and
configuring training scenarios in a simulated environment using
SimiGon’s proprietary toolset. Additionally, the qualified applicants
will be involved in tracking data (including but not limited to ADL
compliant SCORM Objectives) and interfacing with customers. The
qualified applicants will be quick learners, have an outstanding work
ethic, and be able to dedicate themselves to a project through
completion.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive multimedia training scenarios
- Ensure content development fully integrates with client
development
- Balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals,
deliverables, and deadlines
- Support the Business Development team in creation of client
specific demos
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years software development experience
- Experience with a full life cycle of the Instructional Systems
Design (ISD) process
- Ability to work with subject matter experts to extract content

learning interactions
- Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, technical
information to non-technical audiences
- Solid experience working in a team environment

The positions will be located in Orlando, Florida and Reston, Virginia.
The qualified applicants will have a strong interest in
gaming/simulation and be responsible for the development of training and
simulation software. This will include design, development, coding, and
unit testing of software modules which comprise a training system.
Effort may include development of hardware interfaces, databases, and
game controller interfaces. Software will be developed in C++ on
Windows Platform. Applicants will integrate COTS/GOTS software
applications into SimiGon products.
