The software engineer will develop new features and troubleshoot and resolve application bugs utilizing agile development methodologies.  Visual C++ Developer - Reston, VA or Orlando, Fl. (#722)

SimiGon is looking for a software developer responsible for the development of training and simulation software. This will include design, development, coding and unit testing of software modules that comprise the training system. Effort may include development of hardware interfaces, databases and game controller interfaces. Software will be developed and coded in C++ on Windows Platform. The candidate will be required to integrate COTS/GOTS software applications into existing SimiGon products and with other customer’s products. This position is open for the Reston, VA office or the Orlando, FL office.

  • Fluent C++ development skills and Vast Experience Developing in Windows environment
  • Requires direct practical experience with development/coding in C++ for Windows operating systems. The candidate must have general understanding of software development processes to include object-oriented development.
  • Experience with Design patterns, STL, XML
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • U.S. citizenship required. Current US Government security clearance desired; at a minimum must be eligible to receive a US Government security clearance.
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • HLA/DIS integration experience – an advantage
